Jocelyne Larocque is a three-time Olympian and longtime leader with Team Canada, bringing world-class experience and perspective to Stoke Hockey. 


She is known not only for her on-ice success, but for the professionalism, resilience, and work ethic she models for athletes at every stage of development.


Throughout her career, Jocelyne has competed at the highest levels of the sport, including the Olympic Games, World Championships, NCAA Division I hockey, and professional leagues in Canada and the U.S. 


She has served as a team captain at multiple levels and is widely respected for her ability to lead by example.


At Stoke, Jocelyne’s role goes beyond performance. She works closely with athletes on mindset, preparation, habits, and leadership—helping them understand what it truly takes to develop over the long term. 


Her approach emphasizes consistency, accountability, and learning how to show up as a strong teammate and confident competitor.


Jocelyne is deeply invested in athlete development both on and off the ice and plays a key role in shaping Stoke Hockey’s philosophy: using hockey as a vehicle to build strong, capable, and resilient people.

Amy is a performance coach and osteopathic manual practitioner who brings a unique, integrative approach to athlete development at Stoke. 


Her work sits at the intersection of strength and conditioning, movement quality, and recovery—helping athletes train hard while staying resilient and healthy over the long term.


Amy has a strong background in competitive hockey, having played at the university level and served as a team captain. Her experience as an athlete shapes her coaching style: grounded, detail-oriented, and focused on helping athletes understand how and why their training supports performance.


As a practicing Osteopathic Practitioner (M.OMSc.), Amy brings a clinical lens to the training environment. This allows her to support athletes with intelligent movement strategies, improved body awareness, and training decisions that respect both performance demands and injury risk. 


She works closely with the coaching team to bridge performance training and recovery, ensuring athletes can train consistently and confidently.


At Stoke, Amy supports athletes across youth, competitive, and adult populations. She contributes to movement assessments, program refinement, and day-to-day coaching, helping create an environment where athletes feel supported, educated, and capable in their training.

Becca King is the Performance Director and co-owner of Stoke Strength & Conditioning, leading the design and delivery of athlete development across strength, speed, and long-term performance. With over a decade of coaching experience, Becca works with youth athletes through to high-level competitors, helping them train with purpose, consistency, and confidence.


Becca’s coaching approach is grounded in evidence-based principles and refined through real-world application. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and EXOS-certified performance coach, she emphasizes smart progression, movement quality, and durability—ensuring athletes develop the physical tools they need without sacrificing health or longevity.


A former high-level hockey player, Becca brings firsthand understanding of competitive sport and the demands athletes face on and off the ice. Her background as a trained paramedic further informs her coaching, adding a strong safety lens and a calm, structured approach to decision-making in high-pressure environments.


At Stoke, Becca oversees program structure, coach development, and performance standards across all training streams, including hockey, football, and multi-sport athletes. She is passionate about building systems that help athletes not only perform better, but also understand their training and take ownership of their development.

Josh is a science teacher and experienced coach who brings a strong foundation in athletics, education, and CrossFit to the Kvell/Stoke team. His background allows him to connect with athletes of all ages while emphasizing proper movement, effort, and long-term development.

Josh is a science teacher and experienced coach who brings a strong foundation in athletics, education, and CrossFit to the Kvell/Stoke team. His background allows him to connect with athletes of all ages while emphasizing proper movement, effort, and long-term development.

A former starting pitcher for the Cambridge Junior Cubs, Josh has spent years competing in and around sport. He has also coached multiple teams within the Cambridge Minor Baseball Association (CMBA), developing athletes in both skill and character. His experience as both an athlete and a coach shapes a thoughtful, structured approach to training.

Josh’s passion for CrossFit and strength training, combined with his background in science and education, makes him a valuable asset in helping athletes understand why they train the way they do. At Stoke and Kvell, he supports athletes by creating a positive, engaging training environment that encourages consistency, confidence, and growth.
