Body Composition Analysis - InBody

Body Composition Analysis

Getting an accurate body composition analysis will help you set goals and measure your progress towards them.

Among other things, an InBody Scan can identify:

  • Muscular imbalances (L/R) and muscle distribution
  • Basal Metabolic Rate
  • Body Composition Analysis (body fat %)
  • Lean analysis

Why InBody?

- the benefits of InBody analysis include:

  • Accuracy. This is not a bathroom scale. InBody uses the latest patented and cutting-edge technology to provide you with the most accurate results in the industry.
  • Non-invasive. No poking, pinching or prodding. The InBody uses bio-electrical impedance to analyze your body composition.
  • Progress Tracking. The InBody tracks your results so you can easily compare to your last analysis.

FAQ

How often should I get a scan?

The benefit to regular body composition analysis is that you can see how your body is responding to your training and nutritional habits. This will allow you to make tweaks along the way. We recommend testing every 4-8 weeks, depending on your goals and current training regime.

What can I do to make sure my results are accurate?

  • Ensure you are well hydrated
  • Refrain from eating or drinking 3-4 hours prior (water is permitted)
  • Bring food and drink to consume after body composition test (if necessary)
  • Do not drink alcohol or consume caffeine 12 hours prior
  • Do not participate any excessive physical activity 24 hours prior
  • Take your medication(s) on the day of the test
  • Wear comfortable clothing, such as:
    • Sweat pants or shorts
    • T-shirt
    • Comfortable running or walking shoes

Who should not get an InBody Scan?

  • Individuals with electronic medical devices (i.e. pacemaker) or other metallic supports
  • Women who are pregnant
  • Women who are menstruating
